After changing the business model, Harris Mustafa, executive vice president, supply chain, talks about how the retailer realized it needed state-of-the-art technology to support more efficient planning processes. DSW licensed several solutions from JDA’s Merchandising suite, as well as JDA® Allocation. As a result, the company has achieved the ability to account for capacity constraints, better plan and execute at lower levels of the merchandise hierarchy, as well as align its planning processes with changes in customer preference.
